The Ram cross country teams competed Thursday in the Leon Fox Invitational meet in Perry. The girls placed 11th of 12 teams and the boys placed 13th of 13. Not all times were verified to the hundredth of a second.
Olivia Hansen led the girls in 19th place in 22:?? and Melanie Doran placed 69th with a time of 26:02. Other varsity placings were Sunny Mobley, 78th, 28:??; Regan Lamoureux, 79th, 28:??’ Emma Larson, 80th, 30:42; and Emily Most, 81st, 30:48. In the girls junior varsity race Caytlyn Adamson finished 49th in 29:15.1 and Emily Betty placed 52nd in 29:29.9. Both junior varsity runners set personal records.
Placings in the boys race were Nick Killion, 69th, 20:34.4; Ben Wilkins, 83rd, 22:28.9; Ethan Woodruff, 84th, 22:57.3; Nathan Kennedy, 85th, 23:39.8; and Jacob Hueser, 86th, no time given. Killion and Kennedy set personal records. Kane Borgeson, who has been the team’s lead runner, did not compete Thursday.
Team scores for girls were Dallas Center-Grimes 46, Ballard 51, Winterset 77, ADM 143, Creston 152, Madrid/Woodward-Granger 155, Boone 163, Roland-Story 229, Saydel 243, Bondurant-Farrar 260, Greene County 321 and Perry 357.
